   I saw Patti in Los Angeles at the West Angeles Church. And I was feeling fro Ms. Patti as she explained she was battling with demons. I immediately said a little prayer for her, because I know that everyone has problems but hers being the icon she is must be tripled times anything a person like me could handle.

   Ms. Patti still pulled off a fabulous performance as always. She can do no wrong in my book. I am looking foward to hearing the new songs over and over again on the cd. All of the new ones touched me and I know they will be stuck in my stereo for a long time to come. I also was very glad to see Mr. John Stanley as her musical director. He is another awesome talent. What a pair they both make. If anyone has information on Mr. Stanley could you please email me. I LOVE his voice.

   People,

   The gospel show in Philly is going to mean more to me and I must use my strength. August 21, 2001 at this church, I attended my only sister’s funeral. Later that night, I was comforted by Ms. LaBelle at her studio. I am going to see Ms. LaBelle every chance I get. I believe by facing my fears, her melodic voice will ease my soul. I waited a long time for her to go gospel, like she said, “What’s in her heart” is her gospel. Mine too. I can relate….. Sing Patti Sing…….Thank you my friend. … Nina Ray

   I have seen Ms. Patti Labelle in concert every time she’s been in Washington DC since I was 17. I just turned 28 and she is still awesome. Her voice, her honesty, her soul, God radiates from her and she has been, at times, my only source of comfort and consolace. I support her in every way I know how. My kids are 3 and 6 and they know exactly who she is. She’s well beyond description, so if you’ve never had the opportunity to see her, do so. It will be a life altering experience for your ears, heart, mind and soul. Thank you, Ms, Patti

   I had the pleasure of seeing your gospel tour in LA at West Angeles Church…I drove from North County, San Diego and I am so glad I did…You have a voice of an Angel! The selection of songs blew me completely away…Wow! You were born to sing gospel. Sista-girl…God gave you a gift like no other soul on earth and I’ve been a fan of yours for several years. Thank you for giving us the gospel in such a beautiful, loving and uplifting way. Thanks for sharing…I felt “God” in the mist of your performance…I left feeling so blessed!

   I was blessed to see Patti along with special guest Angie Stone, Bobby Jones and choir, Kelly Price, Dave Hollister, Kenny Lattimore with wife Shanta Moore at the Trinity Broadcast Network. You lifted my spirits as usual and brought me into her world. You are a beautiful soul and I love you Patti with all my heart and can’t wait to get the new gospel CD. Patti stay strong and don’t allow anyone to damage you spirit.

   Im back Houston Chroncile newspaper in Houston just posted a great review thank you for posting that great review of Ms. PAtti Labelle , I want to say that Zuri you are blessed to have a mother like Patti treasure her , she wrote that song for you “You Are My Friend” and we have joyed it for years and I still stand on my feet when Patti sings it, Patti if you are your staff every read the comments here ? where is Tommie Johnson ? tell him Marvin is thinking of him and we miss his voice as your background singer

   I have not seen the tour, but I would like to give a comment about Ms. Patti. I know from observing her on her television show that she is real in her approach to every situation, I do not see her being false or putting on a fake persona. One thing for sure, she has purpose or else she would not be on this earth. I believe that she has gotten closer to her ultimate purpose in life, in the gospel areana. I would very much care to hear about how Ms. LaBelle gives back to society, we hear so much about Ophra, it’s all good. But I really would like to talk to Ms. LaBelle personally to see what impact she has made helping the community other than Katrina victims. Her voice is a gift from God, no doubt.     I am thrilled to know that Miss Patti aka chatty patti is doing a gospel cd, it is long over due. Once this cd goes platinum etc, i hope you do another one with songs like Amazing Grace, which you promised on Oprah that you would do, Precious Lord Take My Hand, How I got over, The lords prayer, which you also promised, Ave Maria, He cares For you, His eye is on the sprarrow, I surrender all and how great thou art, etc etc. please please do those songs one day soon, give the RnB a break , you have already proved yourself over and over again.

    I saw Patti in Chicago, at the House of Hope/Paster. Meeks marvelous church. The show was really great and Patti was flawless and I do believe that GOD used her to Minister to entire church. I will never forget this performance.

    Hi Patti! A friend of mine and I saw you in Chicago. You tore the roof off the place!! The first time I saw you perform was in 1979 when I was 12. You tore the roof off then too!! Hearing you talk about your losses really touched me. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer in May of this year. She was my best friend. I feel so lost and miss her dearly. My friend learned her brother has brain cancer before your concert. His name is Richard and he is a huge fan of yours. Could you send him a shout via my email address? If not, it’s well understood. Patti, you are an amazing inspiration. By the way, those shoes you had on were fierce!! More blessings to you!!!

    I saw Patti in Chicago and she was great - it was a star-studded event. Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Shirley Ceaser - and of course - Miss. Patti! I drove about 3 hours to get there and would have drove another 12 - it was wonderful. I can’t wait for the new CD Miss Patti! I will be buying a copy not only for myself but also several friends! We need it!

    I saw Patti when she came to Dallas,Tx.@ the Potter’s house…I enjoyed her so much, I stood up for the whole concert,and cried,because her music has always touched me!!!!!!     I saw Ms. Patti in Chicago in October, at the House of Hope. It was wonderful. I drove from Champaign, IL to see her and her guest.And I loved it. The drive was worth it, and the gas!!!! May the Lord bless you Patti and I hope this is where you will stay. And no, we will not judge you, because God isn’t judging you.

    I attended the concert in Chicago. It was a great show. However, I do want to say that Patti came out and asked the audience not to “judge” her. Patti, don’t worry whether people judge you or not, because if anyone was there who knew of your R&B music, then, they too enjoy both genres. It’s nothing wrong with you singing and enjoying R&B as well as gospel. People enjoy your voice so just keep singing music that can inspire and make us smile. Lastly, how could you forget your words to “you are my friend”? That’s one of your staples. Don’t let the gospel crowd make you nervous. It’s the same audience that has loved you for years!!!

I have long awaited to hear of the release of your Gospel CD.     Hello, I saw Mrs. Labelle in Detroit on last night with J-Moss, and Yolanda Adams. It was so awesome!!! I have never saw Mrs. Labelle perform live before, but I would go see her again in a heartbeat. Everyone ministered so well, however Mrs. Labelle tore it up, she is such a beautiful person inside and out. Mrs. Labelle connects to the audience in a way you feel as if you know her personally, and her background singers are spectacular!!! We love you in Detroit, and will lift you up in prayer.

    I just returned from seeing the Patti Labelle Gospel Church Tour at Jericho City of Praise in Landover, MD. It was excellent. Although Ms. Patti said she was “a little hoarse”, and Pastor Shirley Ceasar was obviously suffering from what she termed “flu” symptoms, both ladies were professional and sang up a storm glorifying His name. Their moving performances were greatly appreciated by and audience of approx. 10,000. This is a concert that was worth waiting in line to see. If anybody is thinking about going, stop thinking, and just go…you’ll be blessed. And Patti, don’t worry about being “judged” by anyone because you are singing gospel. You started in gospel, and now you’ve come full circle…back home. Welcome Home.

    Wow! I saw the show last night at Jericho City of Praise in Landover, Maryland, and it was spiritually uplifting. Miss. Labelle looked and sounded wonderful. As always, the sound of her voice stirred my soul. Ms Labelle beauty is indescribable and she seems to look more youthful as the years go by. My favorite selection was “Walk around Heaven” and I would be remiss if I did not mention that when she performed that song, I felt a reaffirmation that Heaven is the place I want to be.

    I must note that early in the performance Miss. Labelle requested that the audience not “judge” her. Well Miss. Labelle, do not worry about whether “church folks” are going to pass judgment because if they do then they are hypocrites. The Bible teaches us not to judge one another. The work you do is pleasing to our Lord and he makes the ultimate decision, not man.

    Miss Labelle, may God continue to bless you in all your future endeavors.
